There are moments in life when everything quietly asks us to begin again.
This series came from a very intuitive place — layers of emotion, uncertainty, hope, and curiosity finding their way onto the canvas. Abstract art rarely begins with a clear answer. Instead, it becomes a process of listening, trusting, and allowing something meaningful to slowly reveal itself. In many ways, I’m still discovering what it all means myself, hoping to find pieces of those answers through my art practice.
With everything happening in the world, my hope is simply to offer a small moment of lightness. A reminder that starting over is not something to fear—it’s often where growth begins.
Like the paintings themselves, the meaning will continue to unfold with time. We don’t need to have everything figured out. We’re all simply moving forward, searching for peace and the things that truly matter.
And somewhere along the way, we find something beautiful.
Sometimes, that’s exactly where we begin.
'Where We Begin' is my first series as a full-time abstract artist. In many ways, it feels like the most honest and real work I’ve created so far.
